Personally, I've never smoked a cigarette. I've never had the desire to so...I haven't done it. However, I have family members, friends, and associates that light up and that's their choice to do so. If I were a smoker and happened to live in the state of Oregon, I'd probably already be considering relocation because it may be illegal to smoke there very soon.

The state legislature in Oregon is considering a bill that would make nicotine a controlled substance, which would make it illegal to possess without a doctor's prescription. If the bill passes...and I'd honestly be amazed if it did...anyone who violates the order could face up to a year in prison, a fine of $6,250...or both!

What would you do if the state you lived in made cigarettes illegal? Oh...and what kind of doctor prescribes cigarettes?? For what ailment can smoking be a cure?
