Two bipartisan bills, promoted Wednesday by two separate anti-tobacco groups, could force North Dakota smokers three times the cigarette tax they're currently paying.
One county in Arizona is taking their anti-smoking message to the next level, voting Tuesday (12/16) on whether or not to allow smokers to apply for jobs with the county.
Personally, I've never smoked a cigarette. I've never had the desire to so...I haven't done it. However, I have family members, friends, and associates that light up and that's their choice to do so. If I were a smoker and happened to live in the state of Oregon, I'd probably already be considering relocation because it may be illegal to smoke there very soon.
