A Nursing Home in England Ordered Its Residents Hookers

Getting old isn't fun. Who wants to get old...especially when you know there's a pretty good chance you're going to get put into a home at some point. England may have found the solution to being bummed about getting put in a home: Prostitutes.

At the Chaseley Nursing Home in East Sussex, staff members have been hooking residents up with hookers for years. Unfortunately for the residents, though, the city council recently found out about this little "arrangement" and are looking to stop the practice.

The hookers, or "sex surrogates" as they're called, were allowed to meet with residents in a very special room that was marked with a red sock. Every 15 minutes, the staff members would check on the couple to make sure everything was going all right and there weren't any health issues that needed to be attended to. As the manager stated "People have needs," and the needs of these residents was being met by prostitutes. The men were paying for the girls themselves, so it's not like the insurance money was being used or anything.

I say let it slide and let these guys enjoy their last moments on Earth the way they want. If you want to spend it with your family...Great. If you want to spend it with an overpriced prostitute in a special room...Have at it.
