Your Electric Bill Will Increase By About $54 Per Year
Your electric bill is about to go up.
In a press release issued Friday by the North Dakota Public Service Commission (PSC), it states that the PSC has approved a 3.7 percent revenue increase for Montana Dakota Utilities.
Originally MDU requested an increase 6.6 percent.
According to the PSC, customers will see an average of a $4.50 increase on their bill each month which amounts to $54 per year.
The release states that the basic service charge customers see on their bill will increase anywhere between 11 cents to 46 cents per day.
