It's funny, I was at my previous radio job in Grand Forks so long, people would always say to me, "I bet you're not leaving until they name a middle school after you?"  As it turned out, they never did name a school after me.  Big shocker.

I have to admit, "Rider Elementary" does have a good ring to it?  Well, Bismarck Public Schools wants you to help name the two new elementary schools coming to town.  According to an email obtained from Bismarck Public Schools, the entire community is invited to take part in the naming process, they will continue to accept submissions until April 30, after which all the potential names will be brought before the School Board for consideration.

Here's a video of what the Northwest school will look like.  The Northeast school will be identical.  Did I mention that "Rider Elementary" would be a GREAT name for this school?

Dang, that is one gorgeous, modern looking school. If you would like to cast your vote, you can do so now. Just CLICK HERE! Did I mention that "Rider Elementary" would be a great name for either one of these schools?  Well, then cast your vote now Ladies, and Gentleman.  This would be even better than winning the Bismarck Larks Bobblehead contest.  Which I didn't by the way.

Again, get your name suggestions in now before April 30th, the entry deadline.  You can vote for both the new Northeast Elementary school and the new Northwest Elementary school.  Hmmm, "Rider Elementary" sure has a nice ring to it.  After all, we are the Rough Rider State right?!
