The weather has been great up until now ... that's about to change. A winter storm is about to blow into town tonight bringing 6-10 inches of snow to the area according to the Bismarck Tribune. Near blizzard conditions are expected all day Thursday with the temperature going below zero ( which is normal for this time of year ).

It looks like North Dakota's Christmas present to us is finally over now the real winter has begun!

The cool thing though is the fact that in the forecast it will get back up to 38 a couple of days from now, but for now, it's time to break out that hot chocolate, warm up that chili crockpot and get ready to hunker down under the comforter with remote in hand. That is of course if you were lucky enough to have a job that lets you off till after the Holidays.

Stay Warm!
