I guess you could say "Great news for your kids, bad news for some parents." Let's just call it a "twenty four hour recess" day. This concept, which is in the works, could start fairly soon.

Missouri Ridge School principal Steve Guglich say's the idea of a four day school week is "overwhelming". Here is what it details: changing from a K-8 to a K-12 district, adding more modular building, and constructing an elementary school could be a reality if next Tuesday's bond vote passes.

Most parents and teachers have had nothing but positive things to say. The proposed four day school week will mean that 15 minutes will be added per day. Parents who are used to having five days of peace and solitude will see that disappear to just four.

Let's just say that the "extra time in a school day" will be way worth it for the kids, obviously, more time for doing FUN things.

I just have one closing statement - "Where in the heck was this when I was a kid?"          Check out more info on this story here.
