Carson Wentz and the Philadelphia Eagles continued their winning ways over an overmatched Chicago Bears team, 34-3.

Wentz was 23 of 36 for 227 yards and 3 touchdowns to add to his league leading touchdown total of 28 passing touchdowns on the 2017 season. Zach Ertz had 101 yards receiving on 10 catches and a touchdown while LeGarrette Blount had 97 yards rushing on 15 carries.

The Eagles defense was as stout as ever, as they didn’t allow a first down in all of the first half.

The Eagles would score on their second possession when Wentz hit Ertz over the middle in the end zone for a 17-yard score to go up 7-0.

In the second quarter, Philadelphia dominated. After a missed field goal from Chicago gave the Eagles great field position at their on 44, the Eagles needed just 9 plays to get into the end zone, capped off by a Wentz pass to Nelson Agholor on a wide receiver screen for 15 yards that made it 14-0. A Jake Elliott field goal of 45 yards on the next Eagles drive made it 17-0.

Philadelphia would take over possession once again with just over 4 and a half minutes remaining in the first half when he went to work. To go with a couple completions, Wentz would have a few successful rushes for first downs on a drive that would once again get the Eagles in the red zone. With just 5 seconds left in the half, Wentz found Alshon Jeffery on a touch pass from 8 yards out for a touchdown to make it 24-0.

With the defense remaining stellar, the Eagles would make it a 34-3 ballgame in the second half. Wentz didn’t play the last 10 minutes because of the big lead.

The Eagles improve to 10-1 on the year, well ahead in first place the NFC East. They will play at the Seattle Seahawks next Sunday, December 3rd.
