Watch Giant Asteroid Pass by Earth Live [VIDEO]

So, at 3:30pm CST today, a massive 1.7 mile wide asteroid is set to pass by Earth and you can watch it LIVE, thanks to the Slooh Space Camera. 

Don't assume you can just walk outside, look up, and see it, though. It won't be visible to the naked eye. The only way you'll truly be able to see it is by watching the Slooh Space Camera above.

Good news, though...it doesn't have a chance of hitting us, but if it did...you know Bruce Willis would be on the first shuttle headed towards it. (Note: You can't write a blog about an asteroid with an 'Armageddon' reference).
