The word 'vodka' is derived from the Slavic word voda. So, why on Earth would a town in the Ukraine be upset that someone installed a vodka vending machine in the middle of their town?? You'd think they'd be ecstatic!

According to the BBC, the vodka vending machine is actually a converted coffee maker, which accepts banknotes and coins.

Officials aren't so much upset about the actual device but about the possibility of illegal alcohol trade.

Honestly, you could've told me that every town in Ukraine had a vodka vending machine in the middle of it and I would've believed you. I don't understand how or why this is a problem at all.
