In his first season as the head coach of the University of North Dakota men's hockey team, Brad Berry is taking the team to the Frozen Four and, hopefully, returning to Grand Forks with an NCAA championship.

Four other University of North Dakota men's hockey head coaches have taken the team to the Frozen Four in their first year, according to the YouTube video's description: Bob May (1958), Bob Peters (1965), John (Gino) Gasparini (1979), and Dave Hakstol (2005).

This will also be Berry's seventh appearance in the Frozen Four. As a defenseman for the University of North Dakota, Berry took to the ice in the 1984 Frozen Four, helping his team to a third place finish. He was also an assistant or associate head coach in five Frozen Fours for the University of North Dakota.

Berry's Fighting Hawks will face Denver on Thursday, April 7th, at 7:30 p.m. in Tampa. The winner of that game will go on to the championship game to face the winner of Quinnipiac and Boston College.

The NCAA championship game will be played on Saturday, April 9th, at 7 p.m. You can see the game on ESPN.
