Uber's operations in North Dakota will now be expanded throughout the entire state.

The company providing ridesharing services with the touch of an app on your smartphone can now be accessed throughout the entire state, opposed to just metro cities. Uber's services launched in Fargo back in 2015 and expanded into both Bismarck and Grand Forks in 2017.

Anyone throughout North Dakota will be able to access UberX, the most commonly used product from the ridesharing service, and UberXL, which is available for larger parties up to six people from the ridesharing service.

Governor Doug Burgum made a statement in welcoming Uber's expanding services across the state:

We are grateful Uber has chosen North Dakota as one of the first states for statewide expansion, continuing their commitment to communities in our state. Their investment will provide access to flexible earning opportunities and a new, reliable mode of transportation for people in every corner of our state. Today’s announcement is an exciting development as we continue to work to bring 21st century services to all communities – urban and rural – across North Dakota.
