A large tornado was seen sweeping through the Grand Forks area of North Dakota on July 11, 2017.

Many videos of the tornado were posted on social media. Reed Timmer of Accuweather in particular posted a lot of videos of the tornado that touched down in North Dakota on his Twitter feed.

Below you can see video posted to YouTube from 'Northern Plains Chasers.' You can really see the tornado start to take shape around the 4:10 mark. Damage from the storm is shown at the end.

Fargo's Inforum reports that much of the damage in North Dakota occurred around the Hillsboro area.

Large hail also accompanied the storm. Reports are still coming in regarding the extent of the damage. We'll update this post if there's anything significant to report.
