According to a press release obtained from the Bismarck Event Center.  The Toby Keith concert that was scheduled for Friday, September 18th has been postponed.  Toby Keith’s Country Comes to Town Tour has been rescheduled for Friday, May 21, 2021. Tickets purchased for the original date on July 23 or September 18, 2020 will be honored for the new date at Bismarck Event Center and special guests Colt Ford & Chancey Williams will support the date in 2021. If ticket holders have further questions about this rescheduled date, please contact the Box Office at Bismarck Event Center.   You can reach the Box Office at 701-355-1384 (Open M-F 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM).

The Bismarck Event Center has two other concerts scheduled in 2020 and you really have to wonder if any of these show will happen.  The 80's rock band Foreigner has a concert scheduled for Tuesday, October 20th.  Another show scheduled is Justin Moore and Tracy Lawrence, which was originally scheduled for this past January.  It was then rescheduled because of weather to this past Spring.  Because of COVID-19 it was moved to Friday, December 4th.  Now we hold our breath and wait and see if that show will happen.

If you're a concert lover like myself, this has been one of the hardest things about the pandemic.  I love going to live music shows.  I don't care if they're in a small bar or a large stadium with 20,000 people.  I LOVE concerts.  Virtual shows just don't do it for me.  There's something about being a part of a LIVE audience and watching artists perform.
