When traveling anywhere, you typically want to find lodging that's suitable to your needs based on your length of stay, but then again, sometimes you want to stay somewhere you can live it up.

The Huffington Post recently posted 'The Coolest Place to Stay in Every State,' as their results were provided by Booking.com's 'Book the U.S.' The place chosen is not in Bismarck, but up in Minot, so if you need to stay there, perhaps for an event such as the North Dakota State Fair, maybe you should choose the Dakotah Rose Bed and Breakfast. (Not exactly sure why the name features an 'h' at the end of Dakota(h), but we'll go with it.)

Here's what the Huffington Post had to say about the establishment:

The Dakotah Rose is your opportunity to experience premier lodging in a century-old home that has all the charm of yesterday with all the modern amenities of today. Located on 1.5 acres of Souris River-front property in Minot, this is one of the few well-preserved examples of the massive architect-designed homes built by the affluent Carr family at the turn of the century.

There are also currently 22 Google reviews that each have nothing but great things to say about the quaint bed and breakfast. So, if you're heading up to Minot, try it out for a night to see if it really is the 'Coolest Place to Stay in North Dakota.'
