Every year for the past 40 years, the Downtowners have hosted their annual Street Fair, which features arts, crafts, and food. This year's Street Fair will take place Friday, September 13th and Saturday, September 14th in downtown Bismarck.

According to the Downtowners website:

This event was created by the Downtowners in 1973 as “Customer Appreciation Days” then slowly morphed into a full blown Street Fair.  The Chambers of Bismarck and Mandan later created the Folkfest event that occurred October.  They then coordinated with the Downtowners and  moved Folkfest, a two week community event, to Street Fair weekend in September.  Slowly Folkfest was phased out, but the Street Fair remained a much loved community event!

Street Fair will be open Friday, September 13th from 10am to 8pm and Saturday, September 14th from 9am to 6pm.

The Puklich Chevrolet North Dakota Sportsman's Expo will also be going on that weekend at the Bismarck Civic Center.
