This region is getting a lot of looks.

When parity hits the NFL, the door opens for every part of the country.  You can get players anywhere nowadays and that truism is so evident in this case.  Former South Dakota Jackrabbits Quarterback Taryn Christion signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent this weekend and now we will see where his NFL dream ends up.

Obviously, the team is set for years at QB with the elite talents of Super bowl winner  Russel Wilson, but there has been much to do about who will back him up.  Right now, Paxton Lynch is in camp as the backup but that is not set in stone. Knowing the Pete Carroll philosophy of competition means that everyone has a shot at every position.

It would be very interesting if the scrappy athletic skill sets of Taryn are enough to beat out the NFL also ran for the backup job.
