The economy has been difficult for everyone, including exotic dancers. One stripper in Kansas filed an unemployment claim back in 2005 and the case went all the way to the Kansas Supreme Court! Well, the court decided yesterday that...Yes, strippers can file for unemployment.

The strip clubs claimed that the strippers weren't exactly employees of the club but that they were actually renting out space for the girls to work. The girls, on the other hand, argued that because they had to abide by numerous club rules, they were actually employees and should be able to file for unemployment, if they can't find work.

In probably the first instance of a high court agreeing with strippers, the court decided that the clubs were in the wrong and that they had to begin contributing to the state unemployment insurance fund.

Chalk up another win for strippers!
