People will be "Freezin' for a Reason" THIS Saturday for the Polar Plunge Bismarck, at The Pier!

This week on Breakfast with Bakken, Steve Bakken let me know that the temperature of the Missouri River was a frigid 37-degrees. He is sure hoping it warms up by 12:30 PM this Saturday for the Polar Plunge! But, at the time of this post, The Weather Channel 10-day forecast predicts one of those not-so-warm 62-degree days - slight chance of precipitation and a touch wind.

US 103-3's very own Steve Bakken will plunge into the icy Missouri River to help raise money for Special Olympics North Dakota!

Even though the river will probably be just above freezing temperatures, Bakken is ready for the Polar Plunge - it is for a good cause! Bakken, and all the other polar plungers are raising money for Special Olympics North Dakota. You can donate to Steve Bakken's plunge here!

If you want to come out and support those who are plunging into the frigid waters of the Missouri, you can stop out to The Pier by the 12:30 start time.
