Calling all Starbucks lovers: Happy Hour will be paused for the months of December and January. So, if you were anticipating a "Buy One, Get One" notification or two from your Starbucks app this month, it is not happening.

According to USA Today, Starbucks will not being doing any of the Happy Hours that were scheduled for December and January. It is an attempt to limit crowding in small places.

It kind of sucks to miss out on an afternoon coffee run for BOGO Frappuccinos. But Starbucks will still be offering pretty sweet alternate rewards. USA Today reports that promotions such as Double Star Days will take place in lieu of Happy Hours for the time being.

Starbucks has been one business that is adopting and embracing changes during the pandemic. Besides changing a popular rewards event in order to limit crowding, Starbucks has also gone strictly to to-go service. On top of that, Starbucks is doing good for others during the pandemic.

If you have not yet heard the news, Starbucks is offering free coffee to frontline healthcare workers through the end of December. Starbucks also partnered with Operation Gratitude to provide cared packages for healthcare workers, given gift cards to hospitals, and given K-Cup pods to hospitals and military units.
