We have some fine higher education in the state of North Dakota.

I have a son who's a senior in high school this year, so college is on both of our minds.  I kind of get the feeling he would kind of like to spread his wings and leave North Dakota for a while.  I get that, I did that back in the day when I took a radio job in California right out of college.

The funny thing is, living in paradise in southern California, can you guess all I could think of?  How can I find a way back to North Dakota?  I hope that will be the case for my son too.  Luckily we have some pretty good colleges not too far from home.

Our friends at WalletHub recently did a study on the best colleges and universities in North Dakota.  Their methodology for data included, student selectivity, cost and financing, career outcomes, student-faculty ratio to graduation rate, post-attendance median salary, on-campus crime, net cost, admission rate, and several other categories.

Here are "The 8 Great Colleges and Universities in North Dakota."
