In the neverending conflict with the NFL, President Trump has canceled the traditional visit with the Super Bowl Champs, The Philadelphia Eagles.

Late Monday night, the president got the word that only a few of the players would make the visit. As we reported, Bismarck's Carson Wentz made a statement, he was going to make the trip and was keeping politics out of his visit.

The small group of teammates did not sit well with the White House, the president took to Twitter and decided to cancel the visit.

The White House said, according to ABC News, the president will be hosting a different type of celebration featuring the U.S. Marine Band and the U.S. Army Chorus where they will play the National Anthem very loud and proud.

The cancelation did not sit well with some fans of the Eagles, as the mayor of Philly released a statement

"equally proud of the Eagles' activism off the field" and that the players "represent the diversity of our nation — a nation in which we are free to express our opinions."

The delegation representing the team consisted of about 10 players including Carson Wentz.
