Pools Opening For Summer Season

June arrives on Monday and with that the summer pool season is upon us.

Raging Rivers Waterpark is set to open today (weather permitting)...but by the looks of it outside today it won't happen. Raging Rivers summer hours are 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. daily and have made many upgrades.

But do not fear warmer days will return and other outdoor facilities plan to open on June 9th.

The brand new Hillside Aquatic Center was a $4.5 million dollar project and will have there dedication ceremony at 5:15 p.m.on June 8th followed be free swimming.

Regular hours for the Wachter, Elks and Hillside outdoor pools will be noon to 4 p.m. daily Monday through Thursday for the daytime sessions, 4:30 to 8 p.m. for night sessions Monday through Thursday and noon to 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
