I will freely admit that I have never worked in the service industry, so I've never had to deal with bad tippers. However, I've had a ton of friends and family members work as servers, delivery drivers, etc. so I always make it a point to tip at least 15%, if not more. So, seeing a delivery driver get tipped less than 1% on a $1,500 bill is upsetting.

The receipt above was posted to Reddit by user Jfastman with the caption, "My friend delivers 85 pizzas today and was tipped 10 bucks." Obviously, $10 seems a bit cheap on a $1,500 pizza bill but should you really tip the guy 15%? That'd be a $225 tip for a guy who basically just brought you the pizzas. Now, if the tip went to the entire staff, I think a $225 tip is well deserved but, in this case, I don't know that the delivery driver truly deserves THAT much.

Yes, $10 to drop off 85 pizzas seems a bit on the cheap side but it's tough to gauge how much this guy truly deserves. I'm sure pizza delivery guys drop off orders like this quite a bit to places like schools and probably don't receive any tip. Unfortunately, all we have is the receipt and don't truly know the circumstances behind it.

What do you think? How much of a tip should the driver have received? Leave your comments below.
