Hunters are gearing up for the opening of Pheasant season this Saturday and a North Dakota outdoor expert says that hunters will have to work hard to find birds this year.

A late wet spring is the major factor why the Pheasant population is down. Also keep in mind the storm event of last weekend, many rural area in Grant County are still without power and the country roads are treacherous to drive right now. So, you may have to work a little harder to get birds this pheasant season....but have fun and I wish you luck!
