The running boom was huge back in the late 80's. There were people all over the world, lacing up their running shoes, and hitting the streets. Many of them, preparing for a marathon. The purpose was just to finish, to accomplish something that requires patience ( all the months of training ) and determination. To run/walk/crawl 26.2 miles is what a marathon is, a true test of someone's will.

The reason why most people choose to participate, is to conquer their goal. That's what life is all about, being able to set and achieve our personal tasks. Fast forward a bit to our current times. The age of the coronavirus has now started to handcuff us from our daily lives. To attempt to curtail us from our normal routine, to keep us self-isolated.

Enter Elisha Nochomovitz, a 32 year old living in Toulouse, France. This gentleman had signed up for the Barcelona Marathon, slated for March 15th, and the Paris marathon in early April. When both races were cancelled, due to the virus, Elisha would not be denied. Check out how he spent 6 hours and 48 minutes, on his balcony. Click here.
