Countless Seattle Seahawks fans would look to Pete Carroll's decision to pass instead of run as the reason the New England Patriots ended up Super Bowl XLIX champions. It may have also been the reason for one man's death.

Michael Sven Vedvik, 53, of Kent, Washington, wasn't feeling well at game time and taped Super Bowl XLIX with the intention of watching it later. Unfortunately, Vedvik had suffered a heart attack and was found dead Monday morning, according to ESPN.

Vedvik's sister was tasked with writing his obituary, when her husband asked if he could add the following line:

We blame the Seahawks lousy play call for Mike's untimely death.

The obituary appeared in The Spokesman-Review on Thursday, February 5th, but only after Vedvik's wife, Stephanie, approved of the Seahawks quip.

She stated that he would have found it hilarious, as did many of the people that have had the chance to read it.
