Norwegians Prove Docking Your Boat is Much Easier When Sober

A lot of attention is paid to drinking and driving, but it normally involves a car. With the Missouri River running right through Bismarck-Mandan, it's probably not a bad idea to talk about drinking and driving a boat either.

AV-OG-TIL, a Norwegian NGO, produced the video above, showcasing the effects of alcohol when attempting to dock a boat.

While the wine-sipping father struggles to pull his boat in, the sober boater is able to do it hands-free. Sure, that may be a bit over-the-top, but the point is that it's infinitely more safe to try and park your boat while sober than it is while you're drunk.
