In case you've been too busy Valentine's Day planning to notice, the 2018 Winter Olympics are in full swing and if you blink, you might miss your favorite event.

In the short time since the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics have been going on, there have already been some incredible feats in multiple sports by Team USA. But what is the sport that everyone's dying to see during these Winter Olympic games? According to an article from the publication InsiderGoogle Trends has found out what every state's favorite Olympic sport is. So, in North Dakota, could it be hockey? Snowboarding? Nope. North Dakota's favorite Winter Olympic sport is figure skating.

In fact, 46 out of the 50 states have searched figure skating more than any other Winter Olympic sport during the past 12 months. It seems our neighbors to the east and west prefer otherwise. Minnesota's sport of choice is hockey while Montana's is snowboarding. Alaska also agreed with Montana. Those weirdos down in Nebraska said curling was their favorite. Just kidding, Nebraska, but seriously, really?

Perhaps the recently released, 'I, Tonya,' movie had something to do with it. Figure skating was a big focal point in pop culture when the events surrounding that movie occurred.

Either way, I would've picked North Dakota for more of a hockey fan, but honestly, a triple axel can be just as exhilarating to watch as well.
