North Dakota’s Favorite Patriotic Song May Surprise You

With Independence Day just a few days away, patriotic songs are going to start infiltrating our lives. So, what is North Dakota's favorite song about America? Leave it to Spotify to find out.

According to Business Insider, Spotify staffer Paul Lamere filtered through his location-tagged data pool to figure out what each state's favorite patriotic song is.

Instead of just listing the top played song, which would be Miley Cyrus' 'Party in the USA' in 46 of 50 states, Lamere looked at what songs people listened to more on July 4th, as compared to the rest of the year.

Unfortunately, even when looking at it that way, North Dakota's favorite patriotic song is still Miley Cyrus' 'Party in the USA'. In case you're unfamiliar with that song:

So, in the future, to make sure we're never associated with Miley Cyrus again, please listen to something other than 'Party in the USA'. Please.
