With their first game of the 2016 season just a few weeks away, the North Dakota State Bison took to the field for their first practice of fall camp Monday, August 1st.

The Bison will begin their quest towards their sixth straight FCS Championship on Saturday, August 27th, against Charleston Southern in Fargo.

This year's team features eleven seniors, including linebacker Nick DeLuca, who was the only player in the Football Championship Subdivision to be named to the Butkus Award watch list, which honors the nation's best linebackers.

The team also brings back sophomore quarterback Easton Stick, who filled an admirably for injured quarterback Carson Wentz in 2015. Stick led the Bison to eight wins, including victories over Montana, Northern Iowa, and Richmond in the FCS Playoffs.

In the video above, you have the opportunity to hear from Coach Klieman, DeLuca, and Stick as they prepare for the upcoming season.

As mentioned above, NDSU begins the 2016 season against Charleston Southern on Saturday, August 27th. Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m.
