If you think the FargoDome is rockin' during North Dakota State football, imagine what Target Field would be like!

Well, that could actually become a reality, as North Dakota State athletic director Matt Larsen said that he is currently working with the Minnesota Twins on scheduling a football game for the Bison at Target Field in the near future.

According to InForum, Larsen hopes to know in the next month whether or not the Bison playing at Target Field could actually happen.

If the game does get scheduled, it would give the Bison the opportunity to play in front of one of their largest crowds ever. Target Field's capacity is 40,000, more than double the capacity of the Bison's home field in Fargo.

The earliest the Bison could schedule a game at Target Field, according to Larsen, would be 2018.

There is no word yet on who the Bison's opponent would be, if they were to schedule a game at Target Field, though Larsen stated that it wouldn't be the University of North Dakota or Minnesota. It would also, more than likely, not be an FBS team.

North Dakota State returns to the FargoDome on Saturday, October 1st, as they welcome Illinois State for their 2016 homecoming game.
