The only pipeline shutdown we can all agree on. The drug pipeline.

I'm returning to a story we shared here back on January 8, 2021.  Facts were being released about a multi-organizational bust that stretched not just across states, but into the sovereign Native Nations in North Dakota. So that's a heady group of law enforcement agencies working together.  Now at the end of February, the Associated Press is reporting...

The operation includes the sale of “tens of millions of dollars” of narcotics and thus far has targeted 22 defendants from Michigan and eight from North Dakota, U.S. Attorney Drew Wrigley said in a news conference. The group began dealing oxycontin pills in the state about five years ago and switched to fentanyl during the COVID-19 pandemic

Again, going back to our January article

"a large operation moving drugs from Detroit to three different native american reservations in the North Dakota.  KVRR reports that twenty six people have been charged with intent to deliver $2.5 million in Oxycodone. 17 were from North Dakota, 8 from Detroit, and 1 from Kentucky"

It seems the stakes have risen now to "tens of millions of dollars". Three reservations and an alleged Detroit connection. It's a shame that North Dakota's U.S. Attorney General Drew Wrigley's position is an appointed position and upon the change of any Presidential administration, those appointed positions are asked to resign.  So now all that work has to be handed over to the next U.S Attorney General to get up to speed. But, that's the price of politics.  Always has been, always will.

Just get them off the streets y'all!

Let's take a peek at some killer narcotics!
