North Dakota May Purchase Lawrence Welk’s Childhood Home

Bubbles, Bubbles....that's what I think of when I remember Lawrence Welk! The childhood home of Lawrence Welk near Strasburg is up sale and the North Dakota State Historical Society may purchase the farmstead to help generate tourism in the area.

The home, about 75 miles southeast of Bismarck, has been on the market since last fall. Some younger people may not know who the hell Lawrence Welk is, but I ask you -  would you visit his childhood home? I would...plus, when is Strasburg you could grab some great German food!
