Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Weezer are currently rocking the faces off the country on the Hella Mega Tour. As my newsfeed was flooding with pictures and videos from the Minneapolis show at Target Field this past Monday, I saw one video that made my jaw drop. Someone I knew was on stage with Green Day, playing guitar next to Billie Joe Armstrong!

North Dakota's own Adelina Colucci (originally from Missoula, Montana, but we are claiming her for this awesome story) was one of the over 35,000 fans, screaming out every word to every Green Day song when she was picked to play guitar on stage with the band! She got up on stage and absolutely killed the 1990 song "Knowledge" on the guitar before epically doing a stage dive. So, I had to reach out and ask what this once-in-a-lifetime experience was like.

Adelina was shocked to be the one chosen to play with a band she says she has loved since before birth. When I asked her what was going through her mind when she got up on stage, Adelina said, "Don't f*** up in front of Billie." And, even though there were tens of thousands of people watching, Adelina said it all washed away, and it was just her and Green Day, nothing else.

As if playing with her favorite band was not thrilling enough, Adelina was also gifted the guitar, which was even signed! Rather than playing it in her Green Day cover band (where Adelina is the resident "Billie"), she will be putting it in a display case for safekeeping. And, if she ever gets pulled on stage to play again, she would love to play "This Means War" with Avenged Sevenfold.

Green Day even posted the moment on their Instagram!
