A lot has been made recently about traumatic head injuries and the NFL. There have been murders, suicides, depression...All linked to the extensive brain injuries players received during their playing days. Things are bound to change...There's no doubt about that...But when is the real question. One player thinks the NFL may not survive through the next 30 years.

Baltimore Raven Bernard Pollard, who has been fined a few times for vicious hits, stated that he didn't think the NFL would be in existence in the near future.

"I don't think it will be in existence, I think with the direction things are going ... there's going to come a point where fans are going to get fed up with it."

Pollard went on to say that we haven't even seen the worst the game has to offer yet. Pollard believes that we will, at some point, see a death on the field. What do you think? Is the NFL headed for an early retirement? Voice your opinion below.
