North Dakota State Bison head coach Chris Klieman announced that punter Ian Gallagher would be suspended indefinitely after the freshman was arrested in Fargo.

According to InForum, Fargo Police arrested Gallagher shortly after 3 a.m. Thursday morning, after he was seen checking door handles to see if any had been left unlocked.

Once he found an open vehicle, Gallagher entered it, leading to his arrest. Gallagher has been charged with unlawful entry to a vehicle.

Gallagher is a walk-on from Wisconsin. He and senior Ben LeCompte are the only two punters on the Bison roster.

NDSU begins their quest towards a fifth straight FCS championship on Saturday, August 29th, when they visit Montana to take on the Grizzlies.
