The Missouri Valley Football Conference has finalized it's spring football schedule for 2021.  The season will begin for NDSU on a Sunday, February 21st at the Fargodome at 2:30 pm against Youngstown State.  The game will be covered locally on TV on NBC North Dakota.

Changes were necessary to the Missouri Valley Football Conference calendar when Indiana State opted out of the spring season in early January.  The revamped schedule for the Missouri Valley Football Conference will feature 40 league games over eight straight weekends from February 19th to April 10th.  The conference is also preparing for possible COVID-19 cancellations and designated, Saturday, April 17th as an open date for make up games.

Added to the North Dakota State schedule is Southern Illinois on February 27th.  The two teams were originally not slated to face each other during the 2021 spring football season.  The NCAA playoffs will begin on Saturday, April 24th.

According to an article on GoBison.com, here's the NDSU Bison Schedule for Spring 2021.  Following the Youngstown State opener, North Dakota State will also host 3 Saturday games against Illinois State on March 13th, North Dakota on March 20th and South Dakota State on April 3rd.  All four home game are scheduled for a 2:30 pm start.  The Bison will be on the road at Southern Illinois on February 27th, at Missouri State on March 6th, at South Dakota on March 27th and at Northern Iowa on April 10th.  All of the games will be televised on NBC North Dakota with exception of the final game at Northern Iowa.
