The Bison are champions once again, after defeating Jacksonville State 37-10 to win their fifth straight FCS championship!

Kicker Cam Pederson started off the scoring for NDSU with a 29-yard field goal and the team never looked back.

The Bison were able to score three touchdowns in the second quarter, essentially putting the game out of reach for the Gamecocks.

Senior quarterback Carson Wentz led the Bison, throwing for 197 yards and one touchdown. He also ran for 79 yards and two touchdowns, including a 29-yard scamper.

Pedersen was three-for-three in field goal attempts, as well, helping lead the Bison to the victory.

Jacksonville State was led by quarterback Eli Jenkins, who rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown, though he was only able to throw for 57 yards.

The Bison are the first team at any college football level to win five straight championships.
