The NWS has issued a wind advisory, effective from 10am Friday through 4am Saturday. According to the advisory, the area can expect strong winds from 30 to 50 mph. This can affect driving high profile vehicles on the interstate. The strong winds will also have an impact on the agriculture community and the areas still working to clean up from the weekend snow storms.

Some travel should be delayed and those working outside in construction should use caution while performing work on roofs and tops of buildings. Tree limbs and power wires can be damaged or fall. Residents are strongly urged to secure all light and movable objects that could fly and damage buildings and people.
