Minnesota Twins Pull Prank on Wichita State Alum Mike Pelfrey [VIDEO]

Before they got bounced from the NCAA Tournament this weekend, the Wichita State Shockers were a favorite to win the whole thing. That gave the Minnesota Twins the perfect opportunity to pull a prank on one of Wichita State's most fast alumni: Mike Pelfrey.

In the above video, from MLBFanCave.com, Twins coach Ron Gardenhire calls Pelfrey into his office and says Wichita State contacted him to ask if Pelfrey would call and help pump up the team.

Pelfrey is reluctant at first, but agrees to do the call shortly after. Unfortunately for Pelfrey, it wasn't Wichita State on the other end of the line. It was actually his teammates sitting in the clubhouse, having a little fun at his expense.

Gardenhire eggs Pelfrey on as he attempts to pump up the "Shockers". It isn't until the end of the call that the prank is revealed, much to the chagrin of Pelfrey.

Let's just hope the Twins have as much fun ON the field this year, as they do off the field.
