Outfielder Torii Hunter is returning to the city where his Major League Baseball career began back in 1999.

According to ESPN, the Minnesota Twins have signed Hunter to a one-year, $10.5 million deal.

Hunter played his first full season with the Twins in 1999. He then went on to play for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and Detroit Tigers.

Hunter hit .286 with 17 homeruns and 83 RBIs for the Tigers last season.

Hunter will turn 40 during the 2015 season.
