Alexandra Lunseth was recently crowned Mrs. North Dakota. She will represent our state in the Mrs. America Pageant Contest coming up November 20th, where she will compete for the title of Mrs. America at the Westgate Resort in Las Vegas.

I got a chance to sit down with the beauty queen recently who was born and raised in my hometown of Grand Forks, North Dakota.  Alexandria went to Central High School, and the University of North Dakota.  I even had the pleasure of working with Alex for a short time.

Alexandra has ties to the area.  Her father in law, Steve Lunseth owns a ranch and property near Tuttle, North Dakota.  Alex and her family have been hunting and fishing in the Tuttle area for decades.  It's where she downed her first buck 7 months pregnant.  Mrs. North Dakota loves Central North Dakota, and says her family always looks forward to time spent there.

Being Mrs. North Dakota feels "Amazing" said Alexandra.  She's so honored to have this title, and can't wait to do it justice throughout her reign.  Her goal is to leave a legacy for her family.  One they are proud of, and one that is inspiring.  Alex wants to be remembered for the impacts she's made in North Dakota, and hopes to continue that on a national platform.

What's really amazing?  Alexandra had never competed in pageantry prior.  She started this journey as a means to grow as a person.  Her platform is based on inspiring other to live their American Dream.  For Alex, that means business ownership.  "Struggle to Success."

Alex and her husband own a trucking company, "Lunseth Trucking Company" out of Manvel, North Dakota, where they reside.  They have four children.

Mrs. America is a pageant system for married women that is judged on interview, state costume, swimsuit and evening gown.  The winner of Mrs. America goes on to compete for Mrs. World.

Best of luck to Alexandria Lunseth, and the entire state is behind you!  We'll see you in the field this fall chasing roosters.
