We're less than one week away from the Steve Miller Band's performance at the Bismarck Event Center, so what better time than the present to meet the show's opening act: Matthew Curry.

Born and raised in Normal, IL, Curry performed six dates with the Steve Miller Band in the spring of 2014. Before even hitting the age of 21, Curry has also shared the stage with the likes of Peter Frampton and The Doobie Brothers. Frampton actually had this to say about Curry, according to his official website:

Someone asked me in an interview today if I thought there could be anymore guitar heroes. Well, hell yes of course and Matthew is one who will prove that to be true.

Curry handles guitar and vocals for the band. He's joined on-stage by bassist Tim Brickner, keyboardist Mike Nellas, and drummer Francis Valentino.

Curry will be out on the road with the Steve Miller Band throughout the summer. He'll also perform in Grand Rapids, MI with Grand Funk Railroad later this summer.

To learn more about Matthew Curry, visit his official website HERE and be sure to get to the Bismarck Event Center early Tuesday night, May 19th, to see him open for the Steve Miller Band.
