Mandan’s New Restaurant: JAMROCK- Authentic Jamaican Food
An exciting new restaurant has joined the list! Others poised to open soon
We've seen the growth of several new places about to open in Bismarck. The arrival of Chick-Fil-A is one of the restaurants that have been anticipated for quite a while now, also in Kirkwood Mall new neighbors will be The Blaze Pizza, Five Guys, and Panchero's Mexican Grill. I've said before that progress is always exciting and encouraging. Mandan has taken part in this as well.
Time to sport your Jamaican colors
According to KFYR TV "There’s a new Jamaican restaurant in Mandan. Mellisa Phillips-Adi opened Jamrock at 316 West Main Street in Mandan" What a great way to share your favorite dishes from your homeland. Adi was born and raised in Jamaica, and to how KFYR TV added “I just wanted to share my culture and my food with the good people of North Dakota,” I drove by there this morning around 9:30, and she greeted me at the front door with a huge smile, and they weren't even open yet. Jamrock's hours, for the time being, are Thursdays 11 am to 8 pm, Fridays 11 am to 9 pm and Saturdays 11 am to 11 pm. Starting November 8th, they will be open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
I love it when a new ambitious place opens up
I'm really looking forward to checking this place out, it's pretty exciting when you can feel the energy of a brand new restaurant. Melissa personally told me about their Jerk Chicken. The beauty of the way it is cooked, slowly, with a variety of spices, my mouth is watering already.
Check this out, they have a Thanksgiving menu that is awesome
You need to do yourself a favor and check out Jamrock's Facebook page. They already have a Thanksgiving menu to FEIST your eyes on. Make sure you wear your yellow and green when you visit Jamrock.
