Mandan's Classic Rock Coffee has issued an apology for the actions of one of its part owners after he published a racist post via Facebook.

The former part owner of Classic Rock Coffee in Mandan allegedly posted a very violent and hurtful message directed towards Native Americans.

The post has since been deleted but a screenshot was captured by Facebook user Willow Desiree. Comments on the Facebook thread suggest that the owner was aggravated after Dakota Access Pipeline protesters were in his way at a Wells Fargo ATM.

In response, Classic Rock Coffee apologized via Facebook and announced they have parted ways with the owner. The full statement reads:

One of our colleagues recently made some personal comments that were definitely not in line with our beliefs and convictions. This person only had limited involvement with this single store and we certainly do not share his sentiments and want to apologize to anyone who was hurt or offended by his words.

Words have meanings and consequences and these do not match our core beliefs. These are not viewpoints we share or would support, regardless of ANY circumstances.

We have parted ways with this person, as this is something we take very seriously. We also want everyone to know that we judge no one based upon, color, race, religion, political views, income status or personal beliefs.

We are all individuals, and all are welcome in our business.

The Facebook post is currently flooded with comments, both good and bad. Read the full thread here.
