A special Memorial Day weekend has come and gone. We all had some extra time off to be with our family, maybe a relaxing day at the lake, or just staying up late and sleeping in. We all observed and took some time to really appreciate what this three-day run is truly about - paying our respects to the men and women who paid the ultimate price for us to continue to be free. This also was a wonderful time for us to get a taste - an 18 hole entree of golf, served up by Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Payton Manning, and Tom Brady. For three or four glorious hours, the whole nation watched as

these four sports heroes entertained and played as teams, with one goal in mind - to raise money for COVID-19 relief. Of course, everyone played up to the coronavirus codes, each taking their own golf cart, and observing new golf-virus protocol. To me it was fascinating, listening to their chitter-chatter, giving each other little verbal jabs, and that's not to mention a ton of other sports superstars calling in, to pledge their money towards closest to the pin bets and other wagers of skill. Tiger Woods and Payton Manning were victorious, but really the only thing that mattered Sunday at the Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound, Florida, was how much money they could end up raising. How does 20 million dollars sound? Great job guys, loved the laughs, and just that golf was back on....oh I forgot, I think we as Americans that watched on HIGH DEF TV were winners as well, BUTT that's just my opinion.
