Grand Funk Railroad's Mark Farner, Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels, and Edgar Winter are bringing their 'Legends of Rock' tour to Prairie Knights Casino on Saturday, December 3rd.

Farner and Grand Funk Railroad got their start in Flint, Michigan, back in the late 1960's. It wasn't long before Grand Funk had a slew of hits under their belts, including 'We're an American Band,' 'The Locomotion,' and 'I'm Your Captain (Closer to Home).' Since leaving Grand Funk, Farner has continued to record and tour as a solo artist.

Much like Grand Funk, Mitch Ryder got his start in the state of Michigan, hence the name of his band. Ryder's biggest hit, 'Devil with a Blue Dress On,' hit #4 in the United States in 1966. Ryder's most recent album, 'The Promise,' was released in 2012.

The only artist on the tour who didn't get his start in Michigan, Edgar Winter, has been touring the country since the late 1960's. He released his most successful single, 'Frankenstein,' in 1973.

Tickets are on sale now at the Prairie Knights Casino box office, all Star Tickets locations, and StarTickets.com.
