Justin Timberlake was in hot water for taking a selfie in the voting booth in his home state of Tennessee. This got us thinking, is it against the law to take a selfie in the voting booth in North Dakota?

The answer is NO. It is not breaking the law to take a selfie in the voting booth in our state. It is, however, illegal in other states like Alabama, Florida, Colorado, Alaska, Wisconsin, South Dakota and New York.

States where it is legal include North Dakota, Louisiana, Maine, Minnesota, Michigan and Montana.

There are some states where it's unclear if it's legal or not, you can see the complete list here.

Don't forget, early voting is taking place now or you can vote on Election Day, November 8th.
