With temperatures around -17 degrees Fahrenheit with the wind chill today (1/9), Bismarck is currently colder than the surface of Mars.

Mars Weather takes data sent back to NASA from the Mars Curiosity rover to generate a daily weather report for the surface of Mars. Today, the rover reported a high temperature of 17 degrees.

That's downright balmy considering the average temperature on Mars is -76!

Shouldn't really surprise us though. This time of year, it's ALWAYS freezing for us. Remember last year when it was colder here than in Antarctica?
